Hand carved in stone is an image from each place I have traveled. Not necessarily a image associated with the location, but a image that has a significant meaning to me. I’m interested in long repetitive process, multiples, and storytelling. Im interested in the combination of two dimensional and three dimensional. Carving the images by hand in the stone helped me feel more connected to what I was making and appreciate it more. With this piece I’m remembering. I’m sharing my story.
